Prep. OP News!!!
On Saturday April 5th, Atlantic Gymnastics Prep Op Team (Dover location) competed in Hampstead, NH and all of the girls came home with ribbons in their hands. The Dover Prep Op team is made up of 11 girls from the surrounding area (Dover, York, Barrington, Durham, Lee, South Berwick and Berwick). The girls work out 4 hours a week and have participated in 4 meets this year with a State Championship coming up on May 18th.
In the novice division: Nathalie Clavette (age 7) placed 1st on Vault and 3rd All Around. Sydney Hopkins (age 9) placed 3rd on Bars and 3rd on Beam. Jillian Nelson (age 11) placed 1st on Vault, 2nd on Bars, 3rd on Floor, and 5th All Around. Jun Young Shin (age 12) placed 4th on Vault, 5th on Bars, 3rd on Beam, 1st on Floor, and 3rd All Around. Julia Cooper (age 12) placed 7th on Vault, 6th on Bars, and 5th on Beam.
In the intermediate division: Carly Boucher (age 9) placed 4th on Vault, 4th on Bars, 5th on Floor, and 7th All Around. Ally Aubin (age 10) placed 6th on Vault, 4th on Bars, 1st on Beam, 1st on Floor and 3rd All Around. Hannah Heyliger (age 11) placed 5th on Vault, 1st on Bars, 2nd on Beam, 3rd on Floor, and 2nd All Around. Abigail Ahern (age 10) placed 7th on Vault, 7th on Bars, 7th on Beam, 2nd on Floor. Maegan Doody (age 10) placed 3rd on Vault, 6th on Bars, 6th on Beam, and 6th All Around. Ellen Lynch (age 10) placed 6th on Vault, 3rd on Bars, 4th on Beam, 7th on Floor, and 5th All Around.
